SevenSix Agency Awarded a £50K Grant by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that SevenSix Agency has been awarded a £50,000 grant by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation as part of their inaugural Young Entrepreneur Awards in the UK. This grant marks a significant achievement for us and underscores our ongoing commitment to enhancing diversity within the marketing industry.

Our Journey to Change

Our founder, Charlotte Stavrou, started SevenSix Agency in 2019 in response to the glaring lack of representation and equity within the advertising and influencer sectors. Since then, our mission has been to ensure that "diversity" isn't just a buzzword but a core element of how we operate and influence the industry. This generous grant from the Stelios Foundation is a testament to our efforts and the urgent need for the work we're doing.

The Impact of the Grant

Receiving this grant is a game changer for us. It comes at a time when our focus is pivoting towards sustainable growth and stabilising our cash flow. Winning the Stelios Young Entrepreneurs Award is not just a win for us but for everyone who believes in our cause. "I am honoured to have met with Sir Stelios and his team, who took the time to understand our business and the impact we’re trying to make," says Charlotte Stavrou, our founder. "This grant will significantly enhance our ability to develop our team and our operational capacities."

Celebrating Fellow Innovators

We are in great company with the other award recipients: Amelia Christie-Miller of Bold Bean Co and Tom Ushakov of the London Pregnancy Clinic. Amelia secured the top prize of £150,000 for her innovative approach to making beans a culinary delight again, stocked in major supermarkets like Waitrose and Sainsbury’s. Tom was awarded £100,000, which will aid in expanding his services nationwide, harnessing AI to revolutionise antenatal care. These entrepreneurs are not only refining their industries but are also setting the stage for a new generation of UK business leaders. Their success is inspiring, and we commend their achievements.

What's Next for SevenSix Agency

With this new funding, we are poised to deepen our impact in the advertising industry, driving forward our mission to champion the voices of underrepresented groups more robustly than ever before. We are energised to continue breaking barriers and setting new standards for inclusivity and diversity in marketing.

We want to extend a massive thank you to the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation for this recognition and to everyone who has supported us on our journey so far. The future looks bright, and with this grant, we are ready to tackle it head-on and continue our work towards a truly inclusive industry.

You can watch the full award ceremony here and for more insights into our work and future initiatives, keep an eye on our updates on our social media. Here's to more growth, more impact, and more strides towards a world where diversity is not an afterthought, but a given.
